• You tell us what instrument(s) you play and the type of music that you are interested in playing

• We match you up with other musicians with complementary skills to assemble one or more groups, comprising as a minimum a vocalist, a guitarist, a bassist, and a drummer

• You meet up with your selected bandmates to decide on a selection of 3-5 songs that you would like to rehearse and perform together, and choose your band name (note: this could take quite a few rounds of drinks to resolve).

• You decide what dates and times you would like to meet up to rehearse as a group

• We provide you with free studio rehearsal time, which can be daytime or evening, weekdays or weekends, in a fully equipped rehearsal and recording studio

• When you are ready to perform, we book an evening session at a music venue for your group, and the other Hashing Rocks groups, to perform your songs to your invited friends and family

• We will record a video of your performance which you can share on social media

• We can also offer you the opportunity to learn music production techniques and make a studio recording of your songs

All of the items listed above are provided at no cost up-front to you.  If you get to the end of the Hashing Rocks rehearsal program and wish to perfom live, then we ask you to make a £40 per person contribution to the venue hire charge.
